Lincolnshire Furniture’s pieces are hand crafted using only the finest materials. We use a bench-made production approach; hand finishing process (see Finishing section); and meticulous packaging. Our customers receive fine furniture.
Lincolnshire Furniture uses only the finest, kiln dried, United States’ Northwest hardwoods, primarily Alder. Bandsawing, turning, milling, and other operations rough and finish cut the wood while skilled “Carvers” handcraft details into appropriate pieces (i.e., motifs). The component parts are then passed to bench artisans who skillfully hand-assemble the furniture piece.
Lincolnshire Furniture uses only the best woodworking and upholstery techniques. Our manufacturing includes the time honored glue and dowel and mortise and tenant construction methods. All upholstery work is done by hand with craftspeople boasting decades of experience.
Throughout the process numerous quality control inspections occur. Lincolnshire Furniture performs three major inspections, before Finishing, after Finishing, and after packaging. Our system works, beautiful furniture delivered time and again.
